The common garden snail is elevated to royalty when it’s portrait is placed in these cream and gold frames. I’ve been on the move recently and I’ve brought my home and the things I love along with me. These snails do the same with lichen and mushrooms in tow. These snails are so endearing to me and fit into a narrative with the other woodland creatures and mushrooms I paint. I love the transparent quality captured in the squishy body of the snail!

This listing shows two snail paintings on offer for separate purchase. Simply select the one you desire in the drop down menu. The corresponding letter is seen in the photos. The right facing snail is labeled “A” in the photo and the left facing is labeled “B”. If one or the other is not available in the drop down menu, it has been purchased. Please be aware: the colors you see on your screen may differ slightly from the original painting. However, I find that the original art usually holds more dimension and detail than the photo.
