I am a naturalist watercolor painter, passionate about pairing classic frames with one-of-a-kind art.
My science-teacher mother has deeply influenced how I see the natural world and how I represent it in my watercolor paintings.
All life has a purpose and the natural world points me to a divine Creator. Even the hard things and unlovely creatures in our world are part of a process bigger than what we can see. We depend on them for our own good!
A lifelong learner myself, I homeschool my two sons and spend lots of time in nature, foraging for inspiration. As a result, my curious mind is a rolodex of flora and fauna imagery and facts.
Art is the bridge that connects the beauty of nature with the depths of human emotion, intertwining the threads of existence into a tapestry of shared experience.
