It followed me with its eyes as I moved carefully inside my house, passing from window to window. For a little while we were just separated by glass but connected. He was majestic and free. I was held safely inside.
I painted this Original Watercolor Barred Owl Painting in Antique gold frame to remember the experience of being watched by the owl, but it feels a little strange that now we have traded spaces with the glass, now he watches me from behind the glass.
